From ₹20,000 to a ₹4 Crore Empire — How One Vision Sparked a National Movement

In a world where entrepreneurship is often seen as a path for the privileged, Deepak Garg, a first-generation entrepreneur, defied the odds. At just 24, with ₹20,000 borrowed from his father, he laid the foundation of what is now one of India’s most dynamic EdTech startups — Innow8.

What’s remarkable is that during his early 20s, while still studying Engineering, Deepak had no formal exposure to entrepreneurship. Fast forward a few years, and he now leads a company generating over ₹4 crores in annual revenue, empowering thousands of young minds with future-ready skills.

The Spark That Ignited the Journey

Deepak’s professional journey began with a stint at an EdTech firm, where he trained students in Robotics and Coding. His turning point came after winning 1st position in the ATL Tinkering Marathon, hosted by NITI Aayog. This recognition opened doors, including an opportunity to work with DELL EMC, which inspired him to build his own venture.

“Entrepreneurship doesn’t have a destination — it’s about constantly evolving to solve real problems. Entrepreneurs are visionaries who see the gap between what exists and what should exist,” says Deepak.

Innow8 — Igniting Innovation, One Maker at a Time

At its core, Innow8 is driven by a mission to build an army of young creators across India. Through cutting-edge technologies like AI, Machine Learning, IoT, AR/VR, Robotics, and Drones, the company is developing future innovators equipped to shape the world.

  • Establish 50+ world-class community Maker Labs in every Indian state

  • Train over 25 billion students in future technologies

  • Create 1 billion job opportunities for skilled innovators

  • Support Make in India, Digital India, and Skill India movements

From India’s remotest rural schools to top-tier urban institutions, Innow8 aims to transition India from a consumer-driven nation to a creator-driven powerhouse.

Vision for the Future

Deepak envisions Innow8 as India’s largest job creator in the innovation and STEM education space within the next 3–5 years. The broader goal is to dominate the STEM ecosystem, creating a massive impact by encouraging young minds to shift from being consumers to creators.

Lessons from the Journey

Reflecting on his 20s, Deepak shares:

“When you start your own venture, people will warn you about risks — but passion outweighs fear. Don’t waste your life doing something that doesn’t excite you.”

He believes India is at the forefront of a digital and automation revolution, making it a fertile ground for young entrepreneurs. His message to parents: encourage your children to build, create, and lead — not just consume.

Innow8 isn’t just an EdTech company — it’s a movement for India’s next generation of creators, makers, and leaders.
